Transfer between terminals
There is only one terminal, but the airport has a sector on French land, which enables travellers without a Swiss visa to take domestic French flights into the Geneva Airport French sector and take road, bus or train connections on to nearby French towns and ski resorts without passing through Swiss territory, hence with no need to go through passport control.

Information desks (tel: (22) 717 7105) are located on the arrival level and in the transit area. For information and special assistance for passengers with disabilities (tel: (22) 799 33 45). The French sector has independent services.
 
Airport facilities
Facilities available include two banks, a bureaux de change and ATMs, a post office, mobile phone rental and pharmacy, showers, a range of bars, cafes and restaurants open 20 hours a day, and shopping (including duty free).
 
Conference and business facilities
The airport's SkyCom business centre offers private office facilities with PC, fax and modem, 11 conference rooms (seating from 4 to 70 people) and secretarial and translation services (tel: 22 788 1430). There is also a "business corner" offering basic photocopying, fax and telephone facilities payable by credit card.
 
Car rental
Rental cars include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz.
 
Car parking
There are short and long term parking facilities with direct access to the airport. An economy car park is also available for long term parking approximately eight minutes' walk from the terminal. There is also a dedicated car park for the French sector.
 
Driving directions
The main Swiss sector of the airport is accessible from the N1 airport motorway with the payment of the vignette motorway tax. From France, take the A40 autoroute (motorway) to the border and then either the N1 airport motorway, paying the tax. In order to avoid Swiss territory entirely, drive direct to the French sector via Ferney-Voltaire, near Collonges on the D-984; at Ferney-Voltaire follow the signs for Geneva and, just before Swiss customs, take the road on the right to the Geneva Airport French Sector.
 
Public transport and taxis
Geneva rail station is 300m from the Departures and Arrivals floors; all trains stop at central Geneva-Cornavin (a seven-minute journey) and there are also direct trains to destinations throughout Switzerland and Europe. The French sector has rail connections every 15 minutes to the domestic French rail network. TPG (Geneva Public Transport) has bus stops outside Departures and Arrivals. Bus 10 leaves every ten minutes for central Geneva, and bus 18 every 30 minutes for the U.N. Bus services from the French sector connect to regional French towns. Aero Ski Bus provides services from Geneva International Airport (International and French sectors) to many of the French ski stations. Aero-Express Geneva offers shuttle services between Grenoble, Chambéry, Lyon and Geneva International Airport. Free hotel shuttle buses leave every 20 minutes (after 0600) outside the Arrivals level for major hotels.
